Molar

A molar is one of the larger teeth in the human mouth, specifically the permanent first molar located furthest back in the mouth. A molar should not be confused with molars, which are large flat chewing teeth at the very back of the mouth (or at least outside of it) on each side.

Molars can also refer to molars as a group of these teeth. A molar may also be referred to as a bicuspid or premolar, which are names for groups of molars themselves. Molars can also be referred to as wisdom teeth due to age-related loss rather than physical lack of size alone.
