Impacted Tooth

An Impacted Tooth is a type of malocclusion, incorrect positioning of the teeth.

An Impacted Tooth lies below or behind another tooth or teeth. Sometimes it lies directly against bone without other teeth in between. Impacted dentition also refers to supernumerary teeth which do not erupt properly but remain hidden under the gum’s mucosa.
