What Happens During The Full-mouth Implant Procedure?

There are five stages to a full arch implant restoration, which can be completed in one or multiple appointments:

5. After that, you can go to the recovery room to recover from the anesthetic, making sure to avoid strenuous activity and follow your dentist’s food and pain management recommendations.

How Long Does It Take For Full Arch Implants To Heal?

Full mouth implant restoration recovery is usually faster than standard dental implant recovery, but it can still take 3 to 6 months to recover fully.

You will be given gauze on the day of surgery to help control bleeding from the implant sites. Until the bleeding stops, this gauze should be changed every 30 minutes. For the first day after treatment, you should avoid touching your mouth except for rinse gently with water or an antibacterial rinse.
